DAB Masscontrol

The DAB Masscontrol is an active system that converts a garden or borehole pump into one that switches on and off automatically depending on water requirement. The system can easily be installed on the pump. What makes this system unique is its maximum passage capacity of 12,000 litres per hour.

When one or more outlet points are opened, the pump will start automatically and provide constant pressure, it then switches off automatically within 10 seconds of them being closed.

To ensure that the pump does not run dry, it is equipped with a dry-running protection system, which switches the pump off automatically when no water can be supplied.

Connecting the DAB Masscontrol to a pump

The DAB Masscontrol should, at all times, be installed 'on dry land', which means but outside the water. However, it should be placed between the pipes as water runs through the DAB Masscontrol.

The electronic connection of the DAB Masscontrol should be done in the following sequence:

• Upper connection: From the DAB Masscontrol to the socket
• Lower connection: from the pump to the DAB Masscontrol

• Connect the four pump wires in the Control Box
• Upper connection: From the DAB Masscontrol to the socket
• Lower connection: cut the plug from the Control Box output cable, and connect the wires to the lower connection of the DAB Masscontrol
