DAB Verty Nova 200 M-A
The DAB Verty Nova 200 M-A submersible puddle pump is of a very compact design. Because of its small size, this submersible pump is, for example, perfect for draining small spaces and sump pits. The minimum space should be 23 x 23 cm. The delivery port is situated at the top, making it easy to work in tight spaces.
This puddle pump has a built-in, space-saving float that can be activated with a switch. In this way, the pump can be operated both manually and automatically, and used for draining as well as for pumping fluids. Installation, maintenance, and cleaning are very easy. The pump is fitted with a 10m cable, a non-return valve, and rubber sealing. The minimum suction depth is only 3-4 mm.
Water level
This pump is fitted with a float switch, which means that it switches on/off automatically based on the water level.
- Switches on automatically at a water level of 11.5 cm
- Switches off automatically at a water level of 4.5 cm
- In manual mode (fastening/raising the float), this pump drains water to a level of 2 mm.
If you are looking for a pump that leaves less water/switches on automatically sooner (at 8.5 cm), you can opt for the DAB Nova Up 300 M-AE. No pumps are available that switch on automatically before reaching a level of 10.5 cm, because no float switches are reliable enough to operate automatically at these low water levels.

Faq Question 1 | How does a float work and what can I do with it? |
Faq Answer 1 |
A float ensures that your pump switches on and off automatically at a certain water level.
This is very practical if you want to use the pump in frequently flooded spaces, because with a float the pump does not need to be switched on and off each time the space is flooded.
This pump is also fitted with a float switch, which means that it can be used in manual or in automatic mode
|
Faq Question 2 | At what water level does the pump switch on/off automatically when the float is used? |
Faq Answer 2 |
This submersible pump switches on automatically at a water level of 115 mm and off at a water level of 45 mm. To ensure that the entire space does not maintain a water level of 45 mm after the pump automatically switches off, the device is often placed in a sump pit. This ensures that the pump is situated lower in the space, so that the device continues pumping until a water level of 45 mm has been reached in the sump pit. In this way, the rest of the space is pumped practically dry, with only a very small amount of water left in the pit.
|
Faq Question 3 | In what situations can I use this pump? |
Faq Answer 3 |
This pump is suitable in the following situations: for pumping dry or draining a cellar and/or crawl space in a permanent setup, for example, to automatically drain a cellar/crawl space once the water level has been reached for pumping dry or draining a basin for pumping dry or draining a swimming pool
|
Faq Question 4 | What is the difference between the DAB Nova Up 180 M-NA and the DAB Verty Nova 200 M-A? |
Faq Answer 4 |
Of all three submersible puddle pumps, the DAB Nova Up 180 M-NA works closest to the surface. This submersible pump leaves no more than 0-1 mm of water. It is handy for occasional use, anywhere around the house. The DAB Verty Nova 200 M-A is able to switch on/off automatically at a certain water level and is handy to use in frequently flooded cellars/crawl spaces, for example. This pump leaves no more than 2-3 mm of water.
|
Faq Question 5 | Can this pump be set up in small spaces? |
Faq Answer 5 |
This pump requires a space with a minimum diameter of 23 centimetres and can therefore be set up practically anywhere.
|
Faq Question 6 | Is the pump supplied ready for use? |
Faq Answer 6 |
Yes, this pump is supplied with every component needed for immediate use. You only need to attach a discharge hose to transport the drained water to a particular location. The hose in our product range is suitable for this pump.
|
