The Elpumps BP 19/4 ProLine borehole pump is ideal for discharging water situated at a depth greater than eight metres. If you are looking for a pump that fits a narrow borehole, the BP 19/4 ProLine is a perfect solution. The small diameter (4” = 10 cm) of its stainless-steel body makes it a perfect model for narrower boreholes (from 10 cm).
The BP 19/4 ProLine has a maximum pump capacity of 5,200 litres per hour. Another important feature is the pump’s delivery head of 120 metres, which equals a pressure of 12.0 bar. If you want to run multiple sprinklers at the same time, it is important to calculate the pipe resistance to determine which pump is most suitable in your situation. You can calculate this on the basis of details such as the delivery head, the diameter and length of the hose or pipe, possible branching, and the water requirements of the sprinklers.
The BP 19/4 ProLine consists of two main components: a powerful motor (1,800 W) at the bottom and the pump unit at the top, which are separated from each other. The advantage is that it is easier to repair or maintain the device because you only need to replace the damaged component rather than the entire pump. The pump is also fitted with 19 Noryl PPO impellers. These 19 impellers ensure that the pump has enough suction to draw in water, which then runs through the device and cools it. The solid suspension eye bolts on top of the pump body allow the device to hang safely in the water source from a rope or a cable.
