Saniflo Saniaccess 2

The Saniaccess 2 is a relatively simple device with one connection for a floor mounted toilet and an extra one for a washbasin, and is suitable for installation behind floor mounted toilets. As soon as the toilet is being flushed, the Saniaccess 2 is automatically activated. The device is always supplied with an anti-odour filter and a non-return valve on the discharge side. With its 46dB, the Saniaccess 2 is much quieter than its predecessors, which makes it suitable for an even greater number of sanitation-related situations. A major advantage is that the motors on all Saniaccess devices can be serviced from the outside 

Different Saniaccess models:

The Saniaccess 2 is frequently used to create toilets with an additional washbasin: for example, on the second or third floor, or in a place where there is no direct connection to a sewage system. Placing the Saniaccess 2 behind a floor mounted toilet makes it possible to flush toilet paper and faecal matter, because the device grinds the wastewater and its content so that it all fits through the narrow drainpipe. The Saniaccess 2 can also be used to install a toilet and a washbasin in a cellar or a basement. Because these are below the level of the rest of the house, the wastewater needs to be drained horizontally and/or partly vertically. This can be done with the Saniaccess 2. If you have created extra living space in the cellar or basement of your house the Saniaccess 2 will enable you to fit a toilet into that area.

What is a toilet-waste macerator?

A toilet-waste macerator is also popularly called a ‘grinder’, a device that grinds solid waste matter so that it can be discharged through a smaller pipe. The classical macerator models are placed behind a toilet, while the more advanced systems have several entrances to connect a variety of sanitary facilities. As a result, even entire kitchens or bathrooms can be connected to these systems, which are usually installed in places where no direct connection with the down pipe or sewer is possible: e.g. basements, attics, or a space situated opposite the down pipe.
