DAB Control-D

The DAB Control-D is the successor of the DAB Presscontrol; the same technology in a new guise.
It is an active system that converts a garden or borehole pump into one that switches on and off automatically depending on water requirement. The system can easily be installed on the water pump.

When one or more outlet points are opened, the pump will start automatically and provide constant pressure, then switches off automatically within 10 seconds of them being closed.
To ensure that the pump does not run dry, this system is equipped with a dry-running protection system, which switches the pump off automatically when no water can be supplied.

Connecting the DAB Control-D to a pump

The DAB Control-D should, at all times, be installed 'on dry land', which means not in but outside the water. However, it should be placed between the pipes as the water runs through the DAB Control-D.

The electronic connection of the DAB Control-D should be done in the following sequence:

• Upper connection: from the DAB Control-D to the socket
• Lower connection: from the pump to the DAB Control-D

Connecting to a DAB S4 KIT Borehole Pump (with Control Box):

• Connect the four pump wires in the Control Box
• Upper connection: from the DAB Control-D to the socket
• Lower connection: cut the plug from the Control Box output cable and connect the wires to the lower connection of the DAB Control-D

Connection within the DAB Control-D
