Europress pressure-reducing valve
If the pressure in your water pipe system is too high, this may be due to a pressure-boosting pump that was added to the system. A pressure-reducing valve will solve this problem.
As soon as the set pressure has been reached, the valve will open and release the extra pressure, thus stopping it from running through the pipe system.
- Factory setting: 3 bar
- Connection size: 1"
- Operating pressure: 25 bar
- Output pressure range: 1 to 6 bar
- Europress Type 143
Installation
The pressure-reducing valve can be installed between the pipes in any desired position: horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Please note, the arrow on the valve indicates the direction the water flows. Please take this into account when you install the valve between the pipes.
Setting the output pressure
The output pressure of the pressure-reducing valve is pre-set on 3 bar. Please follow the next steps to set the output pressure:
- Close all draw-off points, ensure that no water is running through the pipes
- Unscrew the black fixing ring on the top
- Turn the spring holder clockwise to increase the pressure
- Turn the spring holder counter-clockwise to reduce the pressure
- Tighten the black fixing ring again.
