Good-quality synthetic pump, suitable for one or two sprinklers.
The Tallas D-JET 850 Garden Pump is handy for around the house and garden, particularly for irrigation. This pump can control one or two sprinklers at a time, but filling ponds and swimming pools is another option. The pump is fitted with an integrated non-return valve and a pre-filter, which ensures that solid particles in the drawn water are kept outside the pump body. The pre-filter can be opened easily and cleaned with the supplied multitool.

Faq Question 1 | What kind of water can I pump with this model? |
Faq Answer 1 |
The Tallas D-JET 850 is only suitable to pump clean water, i.e. water that is free from large solid particles (< 2 mm). This means that you can also pump water from a canal or ditch, but subject to certain conditions: Use a suction hose with adequate filtration and make sure that the integrated filter is maintained. In addition, the water should not be colder than 0°C and not warmer than 35°C.
|
Faq Question 2 | What can I use this pump for? |
Faq Answer 2 |
Watering, spraying, and irrigating a garden or lawn Hosing down a terrace, decking or garden furniture Draining spaces or wells Feeding water/rainwater from your washing machine, toilet, sink, or shower in a separate circuit Drinking-water systems
|
Faq Question 3 | Is the pump suitable for continuous operation? |
Faq Answer 3 |
No, the pump is not suitable for continuous operation.
|
Faq Question 4 | How should the pump be installed? |
Faq Answer 4 |
The pump and the entire connected system need to be protected against frost and inclement weather conditions. Therefore, place the pump in a dry location with an ambient temperature from 5°C to 40°C, to allow the motor to cool sufficiently.
|
Faq Question 5 | The water to be drawn in by the pump is situated at a level lower than nine metres. How do I handle this? |
Faq Answer 5 |
Generally, garden pumps and booster pumps can draw in water from a maximum depth of nine metres. If the water is occasionally at a depth lower than nine metres, you will need to use a borehole pump, which is placed in the well and usually has a delivery head of 50 metres and over. Check our range of borehole pumps.
|
Faq Question 6 | What happens if the water from the source is finished? |
Faq Answer 6 |
This is a water-cooled model pump, which means that it cools itself with the water it pumps. When the water from the source is finished − for example, if the water level has dropped below nine metres − the pump will keep running with no water supply. This is referred to as 'dry running' and may cause the pump to become overheated, which could ruin it. You can prevent this from happening by using a dry-running protection system, which ensures that the pump switches off automatically when no water is supplied.
|
Faq Question 7 | Is the pump suitable for a drinking-water system? |
Faq Answer 7 |
Yes, this pump is made of technopolymer, and is therefore suitable for a drinking-water system.
|
Faq Question 8 | Can this pump be connected to the existing mains water pipes in my house? |
Faq Answer 8 |
This pump can be connected to your existing mains water pipes by means of a control system, but we recommend using a booster pump if you want to optimise your water-supply pressure. Click here for information on how a booster pump works.
|
Faq Question 9 | Is the pump supplied ready to use? |
Faq Answer 9 |
Yes, you can start using the pump immediately, but it is not supplied with accessories such as a discharge hose. If needed, these can be ordered conveniently from our webshop together with your pump. Click here for available accessories for the Tallas D-JET 850..
|
Faq Question 10 | What items does this kit include? |
Faq Answer 10 |
Tallas D-JET 850 with integrated non-return valve and pre-filter Multitool for, among other things, opening the pre-filter Cable connection (1.5 metres) Rubber anti-vibration feet Manual
|
