Electric Control System

This Electric Control System is a very reliable device, suitable for garden and borehole pumps. The system is easily connected to the pump, allowing it to automatically:

• switches the pump on and off when a tap is opened or closed
• protect the pump from running dry

The pressure at which the pump switches on automatically is adjustable from 1.5 to 3.5 bar. The maximum pressure the system can handle before switching off is 10 bar.

Installation of this systemFirst, the system needs to be screwed on the pump outlet and, thanks to the 1" screw size, it is compatible with most regular pumps. The Electric Control System is fitted with a plug and a socket. Simply put the pump's plug into the socket outlet of the Electric Control System. Next, plug the system into a socket that is connected to the mains current.The Electric Control System measures the circuit behind the pump. When a tap is opened, the system ensures that the pump switches on automatically and off when the tap is closed again.As soon as the pump is switched on, the system will begin to measure continually whether water is running through the system. If not (e.g. because the water source is empty), the system will cut the power supply to the pump, so that it switches off. In that case, the red light on the system will light up, after which the system can be restarted with a manual reset (by pressing the button).
